Michael Fitzpatrick is a general practitioner and writer. He writes on a wide range of medical and political subjects, including epidemics, addictions and health scares for both medical publications and the mainstream media. His books include The Tyranny of Health: doctors and the regulation of lifestyle (2001), MMR and Autism: what parents need to know (2004) and Defeating Autism: a damaging delusion (2009).
