Dr Tristram Hunt

Tristram Hunt is a lecturer in modern British history at Queen Mary, University of London. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Building Jerusalem: The Rise and Fall of the Victorian City and The Frock-Coated Communist: The Revolutionary Life of Friedrich Engels. A regular history broadcaster, he has authored numerous radio and television series for the BBC and Channel 4.

Dr Hunt is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, a Trustee of the National Heritage Memorial Fund, and a Trustee of the Centre for Cities
