Jenny Bird is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Public Policy Research (ippr), where she specialises in climate change policy.  She has published reports on a range of climate-related topics including long-term targets for carbon emission reductions, energy security and personal carbon trading.  Most recently Jenny has worked on two reports investigating the prospects for so-called ‘green’ jobs in the UK. 

Jenny has also worked for the Environment Agency and for a charity based in Kathmandu focusing on environmental health issues in rural areas of Nepal.  She has a Masters degree in Sustainable Development from Forum for the Future.
