 | Professor Sally Sheldon teaches medical law and ethics at the University of Kent. She has published widely in the area of medical law, including numerous papers on topics as diverse as conjoined twins, abortion for foetal abnormality, and the deliberate creation of saviour siblings. She is the author of two books (Beyond Control: Medical Law and Abortion Law and Fragmenting Fatherhood, with Richard Collier) and the editor of two more: Feminist Perspective on Health Care Law (with Michael Thomson) and Fathers’ Rights Activism and Law Reform (2007, with Richard Collier). In recent years, she has developed a particular interest in parenthood, reproduction and law, with a particular focus on fatherhood. She is currently working on a number of projects relating to the changes introduced by the Human and Fertilisation and Embryology Act (2008). |
