Particularly interested in the arts where it touches social progress, democracy, leadership and innovation. Former posts include: Director Arts at the British Council (worldwide); Director of Creative Innovation at the Southbank Centre, Europe’s largest cultural centre; Fellowship Director at The UKs National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts; Chief Executive at the Nottingham Playhouse and Producer (Mobile Touring) at the Royal National Theatre. Other posts have included: Chair of the East Midlands Cultural Consortium (until 2002); Trustee of the Theatres Trust; Governor of Guildford Conservatoire; Council Member of Loughborough University.
