Adrian Stott

Adrian Stott was born in UK, but relocated as a child to Canada.

His initial university education was in mathematics and computing and an interest in the environment and the organisation of society resulted in a further degree in town planning. This was followed by senior positions in regional planning and management, and then to providing strategic planning and environmental advice to the government of British Columbia.

He returned to UK, as a management consultant specialising in organisation and property, initially with a major firm and then in his own business.

His long-term concern about the fundamental impact of human population on society and the environment led to a position as Trustee of the Optimum Population Trust, a charity seeking to reverse population growth as an essential measure for prevention of the threatened global ecological breakdown.
