Nicola Pearson

Nicola is a journalist with a particular interest in children’s sport, resulting from having a son recuited by Chelsea at the age of 6. Nicola writes about a variety of subjects, including features on the education of boys and why women with high testosterone are more likely to have sons.

Before moving over to journalism, Nicola worked in television, as a documentary producer, including Channel 4 films about the artist Ralph Steadman and dance group The Featherstonehaughs; as a script editor on Sooty; as head of development for the company responsible for the Tweenies and as a script developer for Midsomer Murders.

She now writes mainly for Times2 and also works as a features sub-editor on the Evening Standard.
