![]() | Beverley is a mother of three small children, the oldest of which is five. She works as a Senior Product Manager for a global publishing company. She enjoys working with editors and authors developing new products and services, whilst also getting the chance to travel the world (and work at home). Beverley enjoys the moment she comes home from work when she (normally) gets met by three happy smiles. She left school at 16 with no qualifications, but in 2003 decided to go to university part-time to do a degree in Humanities with History. She was awarded a 2: I degree from Birkbeck in 2006. Proudest moment was being awarded her degree by Eric Hobsbawn, pregnant with her third child. Beverley would like to like to see equality of opportunity for all no matter what backgrounds children come from, but would like to see less of a deterministic approach putting all the emphasis on parenting. |
