![]() | Philip became Chairman of Rising Stars Publishers in August this year. Prior to that he was Chief Executive of Hodder Education, the second largest secondary school publisher in the UK. He had worked at Hodder for over 30 years. He is a director of the Publishers’ Licensing Society. He is also a trustee of Book Aid International, the charity that equips classrooms in sub-Saharan African countries with textbooks and readers that would not be affordable otherwise. He has been an Associate of the Institute of Ideas for five years, and was involved in the Debating matters competition from a very early stage in its development. He has supported Spurs through thick and thin since he fell for them when he was 6 in 1960 |
