![]() | After studying Russian and German at Cambridge I worked for several years in TV directing children’s and educational programmes, working in schools, colleges and a number of prisons. I’ve received a Royal Television Society Award, and The Japan Audience Award and am in post-production on my first feature length documentary on dance in London. Since beginning to write seriously I’ve won a commendation in the National Poetry Competition, read at events for Rising Magazine, Donut Press, New Blood, and The Shuffle, reviewed for The Wolf Magazine, written for Time Out and had fiction published in Mslexia and in the Historical Short Story collection All The King’s Horses. My first novel, Instruments of Darkness, is due out with Headline in May 2009. |
