Sally Millard is co-founder of the IoI Parents forum which was set up in 2006 to provide a meeting place for those who want to make sense of why parenting is such a focus for policy makers. With concerns ranging from what we feed our children, how many books we read to them to how we talk to them, it seems that bringing up kids is neither a straight forward task, nor a private matter. The Parents Forum has proved to be a great place to discuss these developments on our facebook page and in regular meetings, so that we can work out how to challenge them.
Sally works as a financial controller, she is a member of the Battle of Ideas organising committee and the mother of two lovely children.

"There was an astonishing range of opinions expressed while I was there, some of them pure nonsense, others profound, all of them provocative."
